Filmmaker and surfer Fellipe Valadao brings us this raw edit from the super swell that hit Hawaii over the weekend.
“I had the privilege to ride a couple of the best big waves of my life today here on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii,” he told his followers. “This fast rising 20 second northwest swell with 15-25-foot+ Hawaiian size (20-40-foot face) waves provided amazing surf.”
He said the “black belt watermen” out there put on a show surfing the outer reefs.
“Close out sets, lost and damaged jet skis and hopefully nobody seriously injured. Stay salty everyone. Safety first! Aloha.”
